The deck box is the perfect box for my needs, I got the 50 gallon box. The box is made of resin, it’s waterproof and can be locked. I have placed the box on the deck, although, it can be used in the garage, patio, etc. I love that I can store fertilizer, various yard sprays, gardening tools, etc., in it. We were seeking out a dry storage option for our smoker pellets. We wanted to store them outside instead of in my dining room. This box is the perfect solution. One e we figured out how the tabs worked, assembly went quickly and smoothly. We had this up and going in under 5 min. We have had some rain since we started using it. But so far, nice and dry. If I had the need I would buy another. They would be really cute lined up. While you could use this as a side table, I would sit in it for safety reasons. I ordered this Deck Box to keep in my garden area for my gloves, garden tools etc. Having in the garden would allow me to keep all my most used tools right in the garden and save me multiple trips to the garage for needed supplies or tools. One concern was that it would not be water proof. That concern is no longer. We had a down pour the next day after I placed this 31 gallon deck box in my garden. I just checked this morning and it stayed completely dry inside. Perfect. This is a great size for my needs, doesn't take up a lot of room and placed in the corner of my garden is out of the way. I am really happy with this set of deck boxes. I wanted something smaller but would still be able to hold my outdoor set covers when not in use and I can fit a set perfectly in one. The look of these blend nicely with my existing furniture and we use them as end tables on either side of our couch. It took me about 5 minutes for each box to snap the pieces together. Not the highest of quality for a deck box with no hardware hinges but it does exactly the job I needed it to do and so far no problem with leaking.
