Durathon is a finish 10x more durable than stainless steel, ceramic and traditional non-stick. Durathon is an aluminum coated sole plate coated with two layers of ceramic and then a nonstick top coat.

Does the job on cotton summer tops that wrinkle in closet. Good price, works as stated, useful item as opposed to iron and ironing board.
