Nice, sturdy pergola for the price. Easy assembly and it looks great once it's up. Two boxes came, both damaged on one end and parts had actually made it out of one box, in the end some minor scrapes and dents from shipping and the 4 solar lights were missing. This pergola is much more solid and sturdy than most you’ll see at the big box stores. Instructions are straightforward and everything is labeled. I’m happy with it overall. Not to say there aren’t issues. Some of the welds are poor quality. I also had to deal with a couple of dents that made it hard to join pieces. All the bolts are 10mm, even for the base, which seems to be undersized. The shipping box looked like it was dropped from a moving vehicle…it was really bashed up but fortunately everything was in pretty good shape. Came quickly. 2 of the boxes came a day or two later, but it worked out great since they were the last parts needed. They came just as we needed them. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. We’ve been extremely happy with this pergola. We purchased it for our hot tub area, and after using it for several months, it’s holding up beautifully. The frame feels sturdy, the materials seem to be very good quality, and the size is perfect for creating a comfortable, inviting space. One of our favorite features is the built-in side bar surfaces—they’re incredibly convenient when we have friends over, giving us a safe place to set drinks and snacks while we relax in the hot tub. It also has a clean, modern design that really elevated the look of our backyard. We opted for professional installation, which made the whole process effortless and let us start enjoying it right away. One thing to keep in mind is that this isn’t a solid-roof pergola. The slatted roof provides some shade and looks beautiful, but it still lets plenty of sunlight through, so you’ll want to wear sunscreen if you’re spending a long time outside. We had been looking at this Pergola for months as we didn’t want wood to maintain and the size is what we wanted. The added shade screen that can be drawn open and closed is a sturdy material and a huge help rain or shine or open for star viewing while enjoying the relaxation of tired muscles. Finally, a sale price “that we couldn’t ignore) accelerated our time frame to buy. It was delivered earlier than estimated, well packaged with no damage and the delivery company excellent. We stored it in our third garage until we got the project underway including a hot tub purchased. We did have our builder lay pavers, run new drainage, reroute water lines and put the pergola together. The pergola competed the venue perfectly. Our vision is complete and we LOVE it!!!. Dennis.
