Create a spacious, bright backyard room with the DuraMax 13 ft. x 10 ft. Garden Glass Room. Insulated steel wall and roof panels combine with tempered glass sections to create a versatile structure for gardening, hobbies, work, relaxation, or organized storage. Double doors provide convenient access, while the sloped roof and gutter system help manage rainwater. Review local site, foundation, and permitting requirements before installation.

My wife and I just finished building our 10x13 glass house. It mostly went well and the structure is well worth the money, but there is one big problem. Most counties require anything over 120 sq feet to be permitted. I went to get a permit and was told I needed stamped engineer drawings. With my existing wooden storage shed that was not a problem but when I called the seller they did not have any drawings, so I called the distributor, they didn't have them either, so I called the importer, they didn't have them. Then I emailed the manufacturer and never heard back. I tried to cancel the order and buy their 10x10 unit, but was told it was too late since it had already been shipped. So, I'm illegal. I don't know what I'll do if my county building department gets on my case. Anyway, the structure arrived in 2 crates. One was smashed up in transit. Fortunately none of the glass was broken. Some metal parts were banged up but nothing that prevented assembly. I'll attach a bunch of pictures. Building it went well. My wife and I did most of it. We needed a 3rd hand for putting up the walls . Once the walls and framing were complete the 2 of us put the roof panels on. That was dicey but we did it. One note, many, if not most, of the pre punched holes do not line up, but everything was square and level so we just drilled starter holes where needed. When it came time to put in the glass you install an exterior frame and then install the windows from the inside. I found out after the first glass wall, that installing the window pushed out the exterior frame, so have a 3rd person hold that. Also, the 2 rear windows just screw into styrofoam insulation. There should be something in the wall panel to accept the window screws. Basically, those 2 windows are held in by adhesive silicone grout. Lastly, when all was done it was time to install the french doors. They didn't line up. The entire structure was square and true but the doors were about 1/4" off, so I had to grind out the striker and drill new holes for the door stops. The french doors do not have adjustable hinges. They should. Overall we're very happy with this and think it's a good value, but the permitting issue is very problematic and the french doors should be redesigned with adjustable hinges. Enjoy the pictures. Update, June 30. We've had a couple of heavy rain storms and the 2 rear windows leak badly. I'm currently talking to the manufacturer. They'll probably need to send replacement windows (the windows come pre assembled).. Billy. New Mexico. Sun Mar 08 2026

Five stars. This storage shed is exactly what I hoped for: sturdy, stylish, and a huge upgrade from cramming yard tools in my laundry room. The material is the real win here. I specifically did not want a metal shed, and this proves why. It looks great in my backyard, feels solid, and is easy to wipe down and keep clean. Bonus: my HOA only allows this type of material anyway, so it checked that box too. My only beef is the door “handles.” There are no real handles, so you have to put your fingers inside the cutout and pull, which is not the best user experience. A simple handle design would make this perfect. Assembly note: this is not a one-person job. It took me and my daughter about 3 hours. Use a power drill if you have one, it would definitely speed things up. Overall, I love it and would absolutely recommend it.. Kamilah. Chester, VA. Tue Dec 30 2025

For starters I have to say the ppl who designed and shipped this product great job! Box 1 has the top and bottom. Box 2 has all the panels for the lower section and all the hardware except the braces. Box 3 has all the upper section. Made it easy to organize for assembly. Directions are all visual and numbers. Took me 2.5 days but I’m a 61yo grandma and had to take lots of breaks for my back, realistically maybe took 3-4hrs alone. I unpacked everything and organized according to order of assembly. The back panels slidlocked into place easier using my knee to leverage half way down for pressure to help it slide while the bottom was against something so to keep it from moving. Side panels were a little tougher. These screws were tough to get by myself but somehow I got all but one on the whole shed I needed help with. 2nd day I did the upper section and put on the roof. The roof went on easier using a rubber mallet I have and I put on one side of the doors. This morning I tossed on the other door in just a few minutes and done. Hits take out only the hardware you’re using at the time and have only the panels out at that time. I prepared each panel before. Like the upper sections before putting each panel in I already attached the support bars to the panels so I can screw them right in place with only 2 remaining screws not all 4. Here r the photos I took during and after. I’m almost 6’ tall so it’s pretty good size. All fits together nicely. Top doesn’t sit exactly flush but it will work great for me. One small note. Was hard to find on the directions where the foot latch went but it only shows on STEP 13 Left door to install even tho it’s part of the RIGHT door install detail. The detail is on 12 but it isn’t highlighted so made it hard for me to find. Hope this helps but I actually had fun building. Tools used the Allen wrench sent with it and my own Philips screwdriver bcuz it’s more padded and a rubber mallet. Don’t need anything else!. Debra. US. Sun Jun 04 2023
