This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways. Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment.
