L-Shaped Retro Unfinished Desks

To fit your space, this computer desk effortlessly transforms from an L-shaped corner optimizer to a straight workstation, making it the perfect choice for a compact bedroom, spacious home office, or cozy study.

The desk is great, but I don’t like the drawer. It’s made out of material, not wood, and the handle has already fallen off. I think we’re going to replace the drawer with a basket. Otherwise, easy to assemble and sturdy! I love that it has different ledges and can accommodate all the office things!. Elise. Knoxville, TN. Mon Jul 27 2026

The sturdy solid wood frame ensures maximum stability and durability, making it ideal for work spaces such as study rooms, living rooms, and offices. Desk looks great, and was easy for one person to put together. Would be 5 stars if the material didn’t scratch so easily and the top was more sturdily connected — it just sits on top, so that piece tends to shift.. Anonymous. Sun May 24 2026

Im in love with this desk, it is super high quality and worth the money. There was only one main issues which was that it was very difficult to drill in two screws to secure the legs of the desk. We ended up having to use a drill to get them in despite the instructions stating that a drill shouldnt be required. I wasnt worried because the legs were already very secured whether I added the screws or not. I cannot emphasize how sturdy this desk is. In the manual some diagrams were unclear and drawn incorrectly. Specifically for attaching the metal tracks to the drawers. Also none of the screws and hardware were labeled despite them having labels in the manual. So you just had to match the part to the picture. Outside of that the desk and hardware is high quality and I love the product overall, it was just a bit of a puzzle at some points but nothing I couldnt figure out on my own and Im a 25 year old female XD. I like that I can use it as a corner desk or slide the cabinet under easily if I want. I wanted it to be straight along my wall (as pictured).. Anonymous. Fri May 24 2024

Plus, it lends style to your ensemble with a white-finished metal frame and frosted glass surfaces. Use the top to keep your computer, then take to the bottom shelves to stow books and boxes.

Unpacking and getting rid of the packing material was worse than putting together the desk. Its loaded with flimsy styrofoam that crumbles and flies around all over the place. Putting it together was the easiest assembly of any furniture I've ever purchased. It was easy for one person to do it alone. No tools required except the allen wrench that comes with it. I completed the assembly in about 45 minutes. All the parts were there. Its standing up, its sturdy and as pretty as it is in the picture. I would have given it 5 stars if the packing material wasn't so awful. Update: 3 days later - I'm still cleaning up styrofoam bits from everywhere. But worse, I finally put together the side unit - I was afraid to open it up and create another styrofoam mess. Good news is that the styrofoam in the smaller box hadn't disintegrated like the stuff in the big box so it wasn't as bad. The bad news is that after I put it together, I went to set it next to the main desk and its a different height - by a full inch. I looked at the part and see that the footings are different. Looks like the design is different too. So, it looks like they sent me the wrong side unit. I called Wayfair for help but its Sunday so they close early (to the West Coast). We'll see what their customer service does tomorrow. Monday update - really nice customer service rep, John is sending me the correct side table, so I'm happy. Thanks! 8/29 So the saga continues. The warehouse cancelled the replacement order saying it was the correct piece. I sent pictures showing the differences. Warehouse sends out another side table. Its the same wrong table as they sent the first time. **sigh** 10/12 still don't have matching desk and side table. Not sure why they can't get this right.. Barbara. Newport, OR. Tue Oct 30 2018

Stylish and sturdy desk. It was really easy to put together. Xenia. Pflugerville, TX. Tue May 16 2023

The desk is made from high quality MDF board with melamine teak veneer, which is sturdy enough to ensure long-term use. Teak color has the functions of natural, warm, comfortable, Mediterranean style, wood texture, neutral and easy to match, luxury and nobility in space decoration. Using teak color can create a different atmosphere and style for a space, making it more personal and attractive.

This is a very attractive unit. The wood grain is really nice, it is roomy, it can fit either way in a room. However, it was incredibly difficult to assemble. I hired someone who has done that for me before, and it took far longer than expected. There were a few small pieces missing, but the main problem was that the pilot holes for the drawer were pre-drilled and they were in the wrong place. He hasn't yet finished because of that, as he is going to have to all of that work over. Currently, using the original holes, the drawer hangs about 1/2 too low and will not shut. The other problem is similar, but with the glass doors. They look great, but do not hang correctly. One will have to be completely redone, but he is hopeful that the others can be repaired with a work around. It was not an expensive piece of furniture, but I did not expect it to have these problems. However, once they are corrected, it is a nice desk and I will like it. I didn't expect to have to pay to repair the manufacturer's defects, though.. Theresa. Hillsboro, OR. Tue Jan 14 2025
