**Good Value, but Be Prepared for the Wire Mesh**
Overall, for the price, this kennel is a good value. The frame is sturdy 4 stars out of 5, the fencing gets 2 stars out of 5 and assembly itself wasn’t too bad. It looks good and should serve its purpose well.
A few things to consider: the gate was smaller than I expected, and the top frame bar runs across the entire length of the kennel, leaving an opening under 4 feet in height. At 6’1”, I have to duck every time I enter to change the water or retrieve a toy. That one’s on me for not paying closer attention to the dimensions.
My biggest complaint is the wire mesh. During unpacking, the top and bottom wire came unhooked in several places and became tangled. Fixing it required detaching sections and literally reweaving the wire back together. What should have been a straightforward assembly turned into several extra hours of work. After that experience, I feel qualified to start my own fencing company.
On the plus side, the kit included gloves, open-end wrench, and drill driver attachment for the self tapping screws were thoughtful additions.
