Beautiful cat tree, and my cat has grown to love it! He’s 7yo and about 14 pounds. I had two concerns while purchasing 1) how hard would it be to put together and 2) how sturdy would it be. It was relatively easy to put together with well marked parts and photo instructions. It has a very wide square base so I’m not longer worried about it tipping however, when my cat gets to the very top basket and is moving around it appears to shake quite a bit - enough to make me a little nervous. All the parts are sturdy and after 2 months of having it, I can confirm that it hasn’t tipped at all. I love this cat tree. Very stylish and pretty for a cat tee. Also quite heavy and feels very sturdy, much better than some other models that feel like they will topple over. I don’t see this one falling down. I am a little bummed that due to the size/shape and placement of the branch/basket it doesn’t fit where I had intended to put it near a window in my upstairs foyer. First package came with a defective support but Wayfair quickly sent out a replacement. 5 stars for Wayfair. The tree looks exactly as pictured. And looks nicer than your average cat tree. I was very excited to receive the cat tree condo, unfortunately, it has a very strong chemical odor, and it needed to be left out to air for a couple of weeks. In general, it is a very nice cat tree, and it is tall! I am only 4’11” so of course it is taller than I am. I really like the multiple lounge options the cat has on this piece, and my cat likes them all. Although the instructions don’t include any true written instructions, it is simple enough that by following the pictures and pieces listed for each section, I was able to put it together in about 30 minutes with no additional help and using the tools that were included. A couple of not so great comments, the screw that is meant to hold the stabilizing strap is very short and did not hold well to the piece of wood, we ended up using a different, longer screw but we haven’t secured it against a wall and it is stable enough; although I would not recommend leaving it like this unless you can secure it somehow to prevent it from getting tilted over by your cat(s). I also had to use additional adhesive Velcro to secure the fabric sections in place, I did not think the two strips each one had would be enough to hold them in place.
