Havent decided where to set this up for the girls yet. Took a while to set up with one person, but did just fine (after realizing I had to disassemble a couple pieces backwards...oops). Definitely use the protective gloves, edges are very sharp. Arrived banged up and dented, but with some determination and bending while assembling, it didnt make a noticeable difference. The protective metal tray to retrieve the eggs is odd, perhaps need hinges vs screws But I just left them a bit loose to openshut easily. Also, use a regular screwdriver. Recommend this product!. The K&H duck waterer was designed from the ground up to help you keep your pens cleaner, drier and safer. Its uniquely designed reservoir tank discourages chickens from perching and has an easy-fill cap. The water cups are specifically shaped for beaks and bills and contain separate filters. The heated model ensures your ducks and other poultry have access to clean drinking water even on the coldest days.

I wish the cups were slightly deeper and didn't fill up all the way for two reasons, I feel they will be a bit shallow for adult ducks but work fine and also wish they were taller is also to prevent our ducklings from spraying water everywhere as they drink. I do like the trays for pulling out the wood chips and the cap design is nice to prevent water spillage vs many other waterers I've used. Overall I think this works well so far but if your hope is to prevent ducklings from soaking their bedding this will not be the solution.. Ann. WI. Tue Apr 05 2022
