This little desk mounted cat bed exceeded my expectations even when I installed it in a non traditional way. I have mine mounted onto a little side table in our living room between two arm chairs. One of our cats loves to sit with us but also have her own space. This was a perfect solution to that. As long as it is positioned so that the cat bed is over the center of the side table it is incredibly sturdy. She is somewhere between thirteen to fifteen pounds and has no issues jumping onto and off of the cat bed. It doesnt wobble or shake the side table so the space is still usable for glasses or other little things. Assembly was easy i did it myself in about seven minutes. The bed is large enough for her to stretch out on or just curl up and take a nap. My cats are happy with it so im happy with it. It is quite hefty as a heads up the support arms are metal and the pivot works well to move her around and out of the way.
