It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Everything seems very durable and we even had a storm blow through today and there were no issues plus my chickens love it.. M Sembera. Sun Sep 13 2026

Sturdy but there seems to be millions of parts, screws and nuts with not great instructions. I put together but myself but would of been easier with 2 people. Quality looks good but will need to use zip ties eventually to replace the ties for the roof. Very disappointed that it went on sale right after I purchased and Wayfair does not refund difference.. **Good Value, but Be Prepared for the Wire Mesh** Overall, for the price, this kennel is a good value. The frame is sturdy 4 stars out of 5, the fencing gets 2 stars out of 5 and assembly itself wasn’t too bad. It looks good and should serve its purpose well. A few things to consider: the gate was smaller than I expected, and the top frame bar runs across the entire length of the kennel, leaving an opening under 4 feet in height. At 6’1”, I have to duck every time I enter to change the water or retrieve a toy. That one’s on me for not paying closer attention to the dimensions. My biggest complaint is the wire mesh. During unpacking, the top and bottom wire came unhooked in several places and became tangled. Fixing it required detaching sections and literally reweaving the wire back together. What should have been a straightforward assembly turned into several extra hours of work. After that experience, I feel qualified to start my own fencing company. On the plus side, the kit included gloves, open-end wrench, and drill driver attachment for the self tapping screws were thoughtful additions. **Bottom line:** It looks good and is a decent kennel for the money, but be prepared for some frustration with the wire mesh, and double-check the gate dimensions before purchasing. This heavy-duty outdoor dog kennel delivers ample roaming space for medium and large dogs in backyards, patios and gardens. Built with thicken rust-resistant metal tubes and secure locking doors, it effectively prevents pets from escaping while shielding dogs from outside disturbances. Reinforced anchoring and additional waterproof covers are ideal for long-term outdoor service.

I can’t rate it for outside, as I am using it for a large indoor kennel for my two small dogs. One of them is an escape artist and I am happy to say with the height and cover he can’t climb up and out. It was easy tool free assembly and is nice and solid. Personally, I’d rather not have the extra little door at the bottom as I don’t use it and think the door might be a bit more solid without it.. Edythe. US. Sat Sep 06 2025

We went from a hutch to this and my bunbuns absolutely love this new setup. It’s lighter and open and they flop and sleep out in the middle of the pen! Not sure it would be sturdy enough for a puppy in this configuration but it meets our needs perfectly! I’ll probably regret not waiting until the sale coming up in a few days, but whatcha gonna do. Meghan. Tucson, AZ. Thu Oct 22 2026

My toolshed has space underneath where my dog can crawl under. These animal barrier fence pieces did the job...he can't dig through them. Also, waited until after it rained to put them in the ground...much easier that way. Also tacked top with a screw to keep them from bending over. By the way, my dog is an 85 lb 15 month old black labrodor retriever...very strong. Billy. Cleveland, TN. Thu Sep 10 2026

The panels come with individual poles to connect them and are easy to set up or take down in minutes. The dog fence can do multiple combinations and configurations and easily conforms to different shapes according to your garden or room - circle, polygon, irregular, etc.

I added this fence temporarily to my back yard to allow my golden retriever pups access to the yard while having our deck rebuilt. I have since used sections to keep them from AC units and any other places that are “off limits”. It has been a fabulous investment. Anonymous. Mon Aug 24 2026
