This dog house exceeded my expectations. The material was lightweight but sturdy and resistant to leaks in the rain. The inside is spacious. Our medium sized dog (lab/pit bull mix that weighs 65 lbs) went in, laid down, and was sleep in 5 minutes--a sign that he was very comfortable in it. It was easy to assemble. We did it in 15 minutes. Lastly, I really like that the top opens so it's easy to put items inside, like the dog bed. This doghouse is MUCH sturdier than a previous dog house purchased at a local store. I have a fearful feral dog who just lost her friend (and my friend) and she has reverted to her scared behavior.
