I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. It sagged in the middle at first, but when screwed in place to the deck, the header straightens right up. The brackets are heavy duty metal, fastened through pre-drilled holes in the treated wood. Very strong .. solid when built. Quality is all there so far. Couple gripes and maybe they aren’t terrible but the sides under the serving decks really could be more functional .. i.e. racks for spices, paper, aluminum foil etc .. just seems like a missed opportunity to make this perfect. After much research for a grilling station, I think we selected the perfect one. We couldn’t be more happy. It took almost 4 weeks to deliver, which came together in three boxes. Everything was well packed and marked. The instructions were clear and we had no issues with holes lining up. My husband did decide to use longer bolts to secure the structure to the concrete stamped patio but just for extra precaution since we live on water and experience a lot of high winds. We had steady 35mph winds with 40-50 mph gusts other day and no issues at all. It took us a day, or about 7-8 hrs to build. Definitely need two people, and a third is even better. I purchased this as a shade structure for a potting bench, as it was the only one that was the right size for the space. The price is very reasonable and it was very easy to set up, though you will need a second person for a couple of steps. The structure is light weight and while it seems strong enough, it wobbles easily. Adding some diagonal bracing would fix this issue. The other concern I have is how flimsy the tarp is. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the design of this Mondawe gazebo. It’s perfect for placing your grill under, with extra room under the hardtop roof to cook and keep you shaded. The double canopy works great at letting you bbq in the rain, without getting wet too so now I can grill even when it rains. Assembly was not bad either. It came in three separate boxes, so you can move each box one at a time without any heavy lifting. Assembly took me and my brother about a day and although the instruction manual lacks a few worded details here and there, the images, step by step pages, organized pieces and tools made putting it together straight forward. Assembly is not very difficult so a duo that is not experienced can put it together no problem. I would recommend at least two people to put it together (although one person who is experienced could probably put it together on their own if they were up for it). The base of each leg can be installed and mounted into wood, concrete, and even has metal stakes to help hold it down into the dirt until you decide how you want to permanent mount it. The aluminum frame is very sturdy, durable, and has some heft to it so you don’t have to worry about it falling apart or flying away during storms. The gray finish is beautiful and looks very weather resistant. I think the finish will stand the rest of time and keep its original look for years to come. The sides are probably my favorite, considering they include two huge bar-style countertops that are very spacious, stable, and wide enough for sitting around it and placing plenty of large plates and drinks on it, without having to worry about anything not fitting or being too heavy. Under the canopy roof, there are two large metal loops that are attached to the base of the roof that you can use to hang lights and other accessories. So, this is a very well designed gazebo with several things in mind and covers plenty of bases.
