Get out, get comfortable, get Outsunny.

Looks great, seems sturdy, has held up to multiple rainstorms. The installation instructions, however, are not great and I had to redo some parts because of it. I knew from reading previous reviews that this would be the case and tried to thoroughly figure out the instructions beforehand but still had issues. The magnet is also odd, I have to reach up and pull it off every time I want to use it.. Kaleigh. US. Mon Aug 26 2024

Tired of your dream patio being ruined by pooling rain and the threat of rust? A flimsy setup can turn your outdoor escape into a source of constant worry. The Outsunny pergola kit provides peace of mind with its heavy-duty steel pergola brackets and a smart 15° slope for rain drainage. This complete set, including post base, offers a reliable, dry, and seamless extension for your home.

I absolutely love this pergola kit to do your own over a patio space, but, the instructions in giving one any kind of direction on how long it takes and really showing someone what they have to do were so, so poor. Said it would take a half hour. How about a couple of hours just to figure out how long the would needs to be then a day and a half to actually finish it. Not everyone is going to have a stone patio already in place so we will take some time away for that portion. We used redwood 4 x 4’s and had to remove the stones already in place and we took deck blocks and made it so they went upside down and placed them in the three holes we had removed the stones from so we could drill and place the hardware on the deck blocks to make them secure. The one thing that we found when trying to attach them into concrete there is not enough room to attach your hardware to it. So you have to drill your hole with a concrete 716th drill bit which also not mentioned so we had to buy a couple sizes till we had that figured out and then the picture shows us putting it into the metal piece and then hammering it into the wholes where it expands and holds it in place like a milky screw does in drywall. The other thing was how easily the screw heads would just snap off when you started screwing them into the wood. They give you plenty of hardware but we still had to go buy more as that was a huge issue so many broke and found no instructions on where to really start placement of pieces. We had to take sections apart just to attach a piece that was already in place to have the 4 x 4. If my daughter in law wasn’t good at figuring this out I might be on it for a few months, she did a beautiful job and it looks amazing and I can’t wait to put up lights next to give the ambiance I’m looking for. Do better with instructions and better hardware . An amateur would get so frustrated trying to get those screws into the cement to make it secure we did a lot of “You tube videos to get it done. And it is very beautiful when or if you get it finished.. Linda. Mead, WA. Thu May 07 2026

Well it's standing, but the rain weighs down the covering which results in sagging. It's great in the beginning, but we had alot of rain, so I will need to get creative to keep it from being completely ruined.. Yevette. MD. Tue Sep 29 2026

Love this product! Didn’t give it a 5 because a piece was missing. We did eventually get it but was a bit of a headache. Also I feel because we self built it I notice the little things about it more then if we would have paid someone to build it. Did take 2 people and a number of days to build due to our schedule but overall wasn’t too complicated if you want to build it yourself. Love the lights and that you can open and close it.. Lindsay. Overall I like the pergola. Unfortunately a few pieces were slightly bent in shipping and I didn't know until near the end of construction. A few screws were missing and others were very cheap and the head broke off. The instructions are all pictures, no words, and not always very easy to understand. Many parts numbers are only labeled on the packaging so don't open anything until you get to that step in the directions. Other than the construction issues, I like it. It looks good and seems like it will last awhile.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 22 2024

Beautiful pergola. The color and design is very nice. It’s wood, however it’s very light weighted wood. So I would say it’s not super sturdy compared to a more heavy wood type. Regardless, it looks beautiful.. Adrian. Miles City, MT. Wed May 20 2026
