The honey keeper teardrop mason bee house will help attract solitary bees such as mason, nomad, leafcutter, and carpenter bees to your garden. Your garden will gain benefits from their pollination work, as well as look charming with your beehive on display. A mix of tube sizes in the beehive accommodates a greater range of bee species since most solitary bees prefer to lay their eggs in nesting chambers based on their body size. The nesting tubes are crafted from bamboo, a natural plant material that creates strong yet breathable nesting tubes for mason bees. Bamboo produces less condensation and mold than synthetic materials like plastic. The teardrop shape mimics the natural environment and shapes found in nature to protect a bee’s delicate wings from snagging and tearing on sharp corners and edges. The beehive can be easily and securely mounted with the handy rope to a tree, porch, or place in your yard. All that is needed is an area that receives a fair amount of morning sun and is shielded from wind and rain. Not only will this beehive do good to your yard but will make a great yard decoration as well! Dimensions: 5-3/4" wide x 4" deep x 10-1/2" high. Honey keeper makes top-quality beekeeping supplies to support all colony habitats and ensure longevity.

It is becoming increasingly difficult for bumblebees to find a suitable nesting place. This bumblebee nesting box is the perfect shelter and nesting box for these busy (bumble) bees, which also fly out in bad weather to look for food. The first compartment within serves as a separation hall in which bumblebees can defecate and set up defensive measures for the main nest compartment to the right in the nesting box. The right, or main, compartment is where the queens will spend their entire lives

This 2-Tier Beehive Kit is essential for all modern beekeepers. The Langstroth moveable-frame design allows you to remove or swap out combs without damaging or disturbing the colony. The kit includes a deep hive body and ten deep frames with hexagonal surfaced foundations. Also included, is a wax-coated medium super and ten medium frames with beeswax foundations. A heavy-duty galvanized metal cover protects your hive and the colony from any outdoor elements and helps extend the life of the wood. The cover’s sides are slightly larger than the hive to maximize ventilation. To protect the colony from the damp ground, there is a bottom board on the floor of the beehive. A notched wooden strip acts as an entrance reducer which allows you to limit bee access to the hive, also controlling ventilation and temperature in colder months. This entrance reducer cleat allows you to control the size of the bottom entrance to protect the colony, or it is removable to maximize entry. The queen excluder limits the queen to the lower deep hive body. Its holes are large enough to allow the worker bees in but small enough to keep out the queen. This will prevent the queen from laying eggs inside the medium super box. Heavy-duty nails have been included for easy assembly. Measures 23 inches in length by 18-1/4-inches in width by 19-3/4 inches in height.
