This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. Starting with the positives, I think the fan itself looks great and seems to operate fine. The main negative I had was the assembly. Im a DIY guy and Ive done just about every type of work under my roof. This was a small challenge to assemble because the instructions were not always clear and the many many parts are not labeled. I watched a video on a different fan installation just to confirm I was doing things correctly. Another negative is that the wall switch is a bit outdated looking. And someone please tell me why a wall switch that is hardwired with electricity also needs a battery inside of it Its not a backup because it doesnt work without it. Lastly, I think the site image is misleading because it shows a very long downrod. This fan looks beautiful once installed and gives a very clean, modern look. The matte black with brass accents feels high-end, and it works especially well in contemporary spaces with black fixtures or modern finishes. It runs very quietly, which was important to us, and the airflow is great for a larger room with higher ceilings. The smart features and remote are also convenient and easy to use. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that ours seems to have a slight wobble when running, even after installation, so it doesn’t feel perfectly balanced or leveled. This fixture is beautifully made and high-quality. The brushed gold and crystals are classy and will add a glam style to your decor. The instructions are clear and precise. It was best to attach the crystals from left to right. Follow the steps for the fan blade sequence for best results.
