I wanted to give this 5 stars! The oil-rubbed bronze is the PERFECT tone in person (not too brown, more of a softwarm black but distinct from true black when placed next to it). Without exaggeration I have removed and replaced at least 100 light fixtures in my time and this has to be one of the easiest I ever have installed. The domed canopy cover on the fixture allows for it to be easily attached to the mounting strap on the outlet box so you dont have to struggle trying to tuck excess wire into the junction box. The fixture was easily installed in 5 minutes. My only problem was with the globe style shade. It does not fit over a standard size bulb. I knew that from reading the reviews and had purchased the bulb recommended by other reviewers. Unfortunately that didnt work either. I had to resort to a standard base candle type bulb. The fixture will only handle 40 w Max so do not depend on this fixture for more than ambient lighting. I still love the style and it works for me. I consider it a good value for the money.. Sandra. We had a lighting challenge bc the pendant lights in my space obstructed the view into the greater space of the house. It’s a more industrial type modern farmhouse and this light was perfect. Reduced the ceiling acne in the room and works like a charm. The wider profile makes it more of an art piece than a nipple light we grew up with and I wasn’t interested in fluorescent lights.
