Purchased these to supplement broken pool light. These solar lights are decent. Not as bright as I had hoped. They require being attached to a string held down by weights (used rocks) not provided. I suppose they don’t really need to be weighted down but won’t stay in place of choice, obviously. Something else to consider-robot pool vacuum will get caught up in solar lights string. I like this versatile light/stool! My only issue is the grade of plastic used to make it weatherproof…it gets dingy pretty quickly, so when it’s not on the cube isn’t as pretty as it was on day one.
