This pier mount base is sure to give your post lamp a platform to shine wherever you decide to place it. It's made from metal and features a square base with a carved ring around the circular mount for a touch of traditional appeal. This piece is designed to have your lantern mount directly to it, so we don't recommend that you use it with a post or any other intermediary piece. Plus, there are pre-drilled holes in each corner so you can install it onto a post or wall.

I love the fixture and it looks great. The best part is the translucent glass, which gives it a very nice look. The lamp is sturdy and the light bulb can be changed without removing the base. The wire with the fixture is long enough to easily connect to your existing pole wiring. The fixture came nicely packed with supplied wire nuts.
