I installed this several years ago, and the installation was a bit strange. For the most part, it has worked beautifully. At one point, I think the battery in the remote died and my guests could not turn off the light to go to sleep. We had to remove the strange little bulb. I dread when I have to replace that, because it is unusual. Finally, I have other fan/lights like this of different brands. They all have the same 'problem' that I haven't gotten used to . When you want to dim or brighten it all the way, it's hard to know when you have reached the endpoint till it starts to go the other way.
