We got two strings of these lights in different lengths. They are great! They covered our entire back yard and wrapped up and down our stairs. They provide our back yard with that perfect ambient lighting for fall evenings. They are heavy so standard light rods needed to be zip tied to our fence. They are holding up good. The solar feature is so nice. There are timers and 8 different modes. I do think it’s silly that normal mode is the last of 8 options but we love these lights. Easy to put up with my husband. I am always on the lookout for new Halloween decorations, and even more so, ones that done take up a lot of room in storage. OK... a mesh screen that I can program.... hhhmmmmmm. I wasn't quote sure what this would be. But, it came in a small box (but honestly, I'll never be able to get it back in there). It has a remote, but also an app for your phone (which has way more features and makes it easier to use I think (I haven't tried the remote yet). Once I got it hung (sorry in my basement, it has been raining in the evenings so trying it outside isn't a plan). It was remarkably easy to set up, both the app, and to hang the netting. The top comes with hooks with clasps to help keep the books on whatever it is you're using. It also comes with stakes for the bottom. The wires are green, so they will blend if you're putting it on bushes or something like it. Changing the programming was easy. And, it photographs better than it looked with my eyes. BUT, that could be because it was so bright in the small space. The only recommendation I would make for you is to buy one of those lighting/extension cord waterproof boxes. This product has 150 lights with 1 in every 5th light twinkling. This set is 5' H x 6' W. Each set contains fifteen drops of 10 bulbs with 4" spacing between drops and 6" spacing between each bulb. There is a 12" lead from the plug to the first drop and a 4" tail after the last drop. UL listed for indoor and outdoor use.

I got the multi-colored lights, and they're so gorgeous! Takes me back to my childhood. They're fragile, so you have to be careful, and they're somewhat hot, so it's important to put them where they won't risk fire. That's why people don't use this kind anymore, isn't it. I broke one of the bulbs accidentally just by letting it touch the floor a little too easily - luckily it didn't make the whole strand worthless, I just moved it so the empty was closer to the plug. The warmth and festive feeling of them is undeniably better than anything else. I hung them on cup hooks from the ceiling two inches from the wall and they look fantastic without touching anything.
