OK so these lights are beautiful and subtle. I was going for a firefly fairy look in my palm trees and garden, and these definitely delivered without needing to be plugged in! I'm a big fan of solar garden lights and I love the fact that these are so long. The only issue is that although the lights came nicely wound, when I began unraveling them, they were totally tangled. The more I tried to untangle them, the more tangled they became. I was still able to bunch them towards the top of my palm tree, and they twinkle beautifully but next time, I will be extra careful unraveling. Definitely take your time doing that. This solar fairy light string came quickly and packed perfect for no damage. It came wrapped in a roll. I made the mistake of starting to unroll it to let it charge during the day. But when I tried to string them up they were so tangled. It was my fault so beware to unroll them and place them where you want them or they easily get tangled up .
