Ive placed these lights on the exterior of my houseboat. They are 50 feet long with lots of space between lights. Because of the angle of the dual lights it illuminates quite a wide space. This solar fairy light string came quickly and packed perfect for no damage. It came wrapped in a roll. I made the mistake of starting to unroll it to let it charge during the day. But when I tried to string them up they were so tangled. It was my fault so beware to unroll them and place them where you want them or they easily get tangled up .
