I ordered this lantern light string in the pink color, and used them for a patio party. They worked great. I was able to attach them to our wysteria vine using clothespins, to drape them across our garage, on the patio side. The on-off switch was perfect, and I just had to turn on the switch, once it was dark. They provided extra lighting, as well as a festive atmosphere, and looked very cute hanging above our garage door, in the vine. Paired them with other solar-powered lights both on the ground, as well as fairy string lights in our bushes. The bright pink added a great touch of color. I definitely would recommend these - they are fun and add a creative touch to your decorating. The lantern size globe is nice in the large size. Ive placed these lights on the exterior of my houseboat. They are 50 feet long with lots of space between lights. Because of the angle of the dual lights it illuminates quite a wide space. We love this 48" long string of lights and how it brings warm light to any back patio or porch. The strand comes complete with 15 standard bulbs – they're evenly spaced with three feet between each socket. Plus, they're rated for wet locations, so they're safe to hang where they'll get direct exposure to water. Why don't you try picking up a few sets (sold separately) and connecting them?
