This light fixture is a nice upgrade to our old one. It's larger and the tempered glass really adds some extra glow at night. The installation was fairly easy until the copper ground wire came undone from the fixture. It was attached with a standard clip but the clip was slightly loose. It was a pretty easy fix though. Just slid it back in and clamped the clip down with some pliers. The rest of the wiring was just fine and straight-forward. The instructions were very clear. It was packaged very well.. Julie. Bring instant curb appeal to your outdoor space with this American vintage post lantern. Crafted from durable iron with a matte black finish and crackled glass, it transforms driveways, walkways, and porches into a warm, relaxed, suburban-style retreat that feels welcoming every night.

I like this a lot and it was a nice and easy install. It comes with the lightbulb which is also really nice. The only thing that frustrated me is that the base of it is plastic. I was screwing it in and the plastic cracked. I plan to paint the post so I will try to cover the crack with paint also but when that happens with a new light you are just frustrated. The one I had replaced had a metal base and it made me question if I was going down in quality.. Kate. Bloomsburg, PA. Thu Oct 08 2026

Bring timeless charm to your home with this classic American vintage solar post light. Featuring a refined hexagonal lantern design, warm Edison-style glow, and dual power options, it blends elegance, durability, and modern convenience—perfect for creating a cozy, welcoming outdoor atmosphere in any space.

It is very nice however hardwiring is not an option for me. The small light that is powered by the solar battery does not put off very much light. It is very dim compared to other solar lights I have on my property. Since I was installing mine on a wood rail I had to find 4 screws that were long enough to fit the base. When I attached the three screws that held the top section onto the base the metal actually split a bit. But it felt secure so I have not reached out to company.. Phyllis. Louisiana. Sun Jun 14 2026

With rounded metal frames and cylindrical glass shades, ensuring compatibility with a variety of outdoor aesthetics. Finished in Textured Black or Antique Bronze and wet-rated for durability, the collection includes three sizes of wall sconces and a sleek flush mount, delivering a subtle glow that complements any exterior environment.

I love the lights and they look great! Pictures of old and new. Note: I painted the bulb collar to coordinate with my other exterior lights. Just a couple of small issues: a) the lights came with 3 screws to attach to a post but I need to attach to a pier mount base (Castellanos, which I purchased at the same time) so they don't work. I am in the process of trying to find a way to secure them, and b) there is about 1/4" gap between the glass and the base so water gets in. There are holes in the bottom of the base but it's a flat surface so I think water will stand - trying to find someway to seal it (other than using silicon).. Jana. Salt Lake City, UT. we got the outdoor post lantern a few weeks ago and got it up next to the driveway close to the kitchen door, it is great in the evening to sit outside and not have to move around to get a light to come on, we also got a shimmering light to go inside of it, and it looks like one of those old timey post you see in the westerns or old movies where someone had to go around and light up all of the street lights, and the glass being frosted it is just stunning. we love it....
