Blades are nice. They are wider than my original blades and the holes weren't exactly where I needed them. Thankfully my husband drilled new holes for me where they could be installed. These were nicer than expected. Much thicker than my original blades, which was part of a expensive ceiling fan I purchased when we built our house in 1997, which matched the original wood floors. I am very pleased with this outdoor ceiling fan. The blades are strong so they will not be in heat has three blades multiple settings, different settings for light. From what I’m told it was easy to install. This is a really pretty walnut color. Has a remote that came with it.
