Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. This is such a pretty and well made lamp. It came boxed up really well, and it is nice and heavy and sturdy. The quality is much better than I even expected. The clear glass is actually glass and not plexiglass and the shade is also really nice quality. It accommodates up to 150 watts (3 way bulb) so it would be great for mood lighting in a living room, which is where I will be using it. I am happy with this lamp and think it is well made. This Dragonfly design 1-light tiffany-style reading-style floor lamp would be a perfect fit in a bedroom, office, and living room! The shade is hand-crafted, using the same methods developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. This process entails using 195 hand-cut stained art glass pieces and 60 glass beads, each wrapped in fine copper foil and soldered together at extremely high temperatures to form each unique piece. The exact size to the nearest inch may vary, and the exact color of each glass piece may vary due to each piece being hand-crafted. The first image is with the light shining through, the second image is with no light. Dry-listed and recommended for an indoor setting.

Stained glass is handcrafted using the same technique that was developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. Glass types and colors are designed using metallic salts during manufacturing. Each piece of real glass is hand-cut and copper foil is wrapped around each individual piece. The glass pieces are then welded by hand to create one-of-a-kind designs. As part of the finishing process, oil is added to the outside of the design to protect the metal from erosion. The beauty of stained glass is its versatility when illuminated by light. Stained glass will become more vibrant when lit.
