I like the size and the design of this lamp. My only complaint is the finish is definitely a painted gold finish versus like a brass bronze polished or polished gold finish. I do like the foot on off and the lightbulb was very interesting that it came with allowing you to pick the different color temperatures however I replaced it because I wanted something different if the finish is OK for you then other than that it’s a very nice lamp. We love this lamp. It was immediately apparent that it was of a much higher quality than similar, cheaper lamps, and very much worth the price. Attaching the post to the base was a challenge. The included wrench was nice, but awkward given the limited angle afforded by the base. I had a very hard time getting the post tight and perpendicular to the base. This lamp is stunning and completes our newly refurbished living room. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. Assembly was easy and straightforward. I did it by myself in about 20 minutes. Used one piece or the styrofoam to place under the wood body on and then it was even with the base and simple to tighten the nuts and washers. Electrical connection was also simple.
