Blue Lighting Components

This ceiling medallion added an element of historic design to my renovation. Note that the bluish areas in the photo are actually cut out, and when installed, your ceiling will show through in those spots. Center area around the opening is thicker than the edges. I changed out the light plate cover to a deeper profile. Applied easily with construction adhesive and temporarily held in place with tape till the adhesion dried. So lightweight, that you can alter the opening with an Xacto knife.. Keenkathy. Arizona. Mon Jun 22 2015

This has a great finish and provides a more formal look to my dining room. Love it! (optional) Example: Great value, easy assembly, durable finish (optional) Example: Not enough color options. Karen. Durham, NC. Wed Nov 19 2014

Ordered these to cover the cords on the wall sconces I ordered for our bedsides (we recently moved and weren't positive on how we would arrange our bedroom, so I couldn't go with hardwired sconces, and I didn't want lamps taking up precious space on our bedside tables). They work great! The only issue we are having is getting them to stay mounted where the cord comes out of the fixture. Right now we tuck the fabric behind the metal post against the wall and it comes dislodged every so often.. Alexandria. Reno, NV. Thu Jul 23 2026

Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. We just used small finishing nails to secure it as flat as we could to the ceiling. Then caulked around the edge. We did not end up painting it because our ceiling was already white.. Nicole.
