So far I love these fans. Ordered them together (2) so they would match rooms that are next to each other. The light is bright enough for large rooms, but can be dimmed, It has 6 speeds which is more than my last fans (only had 3), sturdy, so much lighter than my old ones and easy to put together (per hubby). The real wood blades are nice and very light weight. The wind speed works well for our living room and kitchen. Remote is easy to use and I like that there is a timer on the fan also of 1, 4 and 8 hours. There are 3 light settings so you can choose soft, day, and very bright (the bluish type) to fit your room needs. We like the soft one for the living room and the medium one for the kitchen. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room.
