These lamps exceeded our expectations! They arrived well packaged, and even though I had already cut the box open before taking pictures, everything inside was protected and arrived in perfect condition. Assembly couldn’t have been easier, it took less than 5 minutes to have both lamps completely set up. The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. They look much more expensive than they actually are and fit our space perfectly. Overall, this was another great Wayfair purchase. Like them very much. Pretty much what i expected. However, the shade are thin and the bulb outline is clearly visible through the shade. Also, the frame of the shade does not line up with the seams in the shade. Additionally during assembly after screwing the light fixture to the base there was a gap that fiddling with it did not close the gap. Update I did not do an adequate inspection when received. We were doing renovations so the lamp went back in the box until project completion so the return window passed. I can only hope my home repair is not too obvious. Still like them.. Theresa M. I just received these lamps, and I got a great sale price, so that made them even more attractive to purchase. They arrived and are beautiful. I like their height and slim profile, so they don't take up too much space on my nightstand. My only issue is with the lampshade. I do not like barrel lampshades. These do not have strong enough clips to attach them tightly to the shade holders, and there aren't enough of them, so I replaced the shades with chimney-shaped shades, which I already had from my other lamps. It makes them much more attractive. Additionally, I love the USB ports and the outlets on the lamps, which make them very convenient for charging cell phones or other items. What a genius idea!! My other issue is that I received two right-sided lamps because both the plugs and USB ports are on the right side of each lamp, which makes it difficult for the second person in bed to reach the ports on their lamp.
