This is our second purchase of these lights. We have them hanging all along our fence and they look beautiful. We bounce our first set five years ago. They have weathered the hot Texas sun and our winters with some freezing temperatures. Most of the first set still work perfectly. These were to replace a few that were broken over time. Would I buy again? Yes. These are great for what we needed. The three different light settings have a slightly different brightness but I just put them on the lowest and it's sufficient for our needs. Instructions: 1. You need to turn on the ON/OFF switch on the solar panel, keep the switch in the ON position. 2. You need to charge the solar fence lights in the sun for 6-8 hours. 3. You need to use screws to fix these outdoor solar lights on the wall, fence or other places. 4. You can see the fence solar lights light up in the evening or at night. 5. In winter, remove the snow or the dust from the solar panel so that it can be better charged. The working hours normally reduce at winter due to the soft/weak sunlight.
