This pain is as close as it gets to perfection! It heats evenly, is scratch-resistant (no plastic or silicone tools required) and is as close to non-stick as any other pan I've tried and I've tried several! It's so much less finicky than my stainless steel or carbon steel pans. Worth every single penny and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. The size is perfect for things like browning taco meat or large batches of sauce. The high sides mean that my stove top stays clean because nothing is splashing over the edges. My only qualm is that it's not dishwasher safe. But it's so easy to clean that not using the dishwasher hasn't been an issue for me at all so far. 10/10 would recommend!. A.. United States. Shipping was quick, but the box arrived looking like it had been through a war zone. Luckily, it seems the contents survived. This pan is a perfect size for me, as I'm downsizing from a 5-quart version that was just too big for one-person meals. The color is a nice shade of blue. I haven't used it yet, but having already used a similar version, I know that I'm going to love this smaller one. I can make anything in it from sauces to sloppy joes to tacos to pasta... The box was open, single layer cardboard, with no tape. It smelled oddly of floral perfume. Inside was the heavy, beautifully smooth carbon steel paella pan, with instructions on how to season it.
