This coffee maker is worth the purchase. My husband prefers the BUNN brand. He likes how fast the BUNN is. I convinced him to try this and we have not been disappointed. It is not as fast as my old BUNN but it could give it a run for its money. It takes about 4 minutes to make a 12 cup pot. I like the fact that it is a 12 cup pot, that is always a plus.. Machael. Can’t live without it. Hot or cold, small or large. It’s an easy 3 step process and I love it! I suggest not using tap water to avoid hard water rings around the basin; spring or filtered water is best. I also suggest gently washing the water basin. Scrubbing with an abrasive sponge or wire pads will cause scratches on the plastic. I’ve had it for a few years and use it religiously everyday and it’s still brewing strong.
