We love this pan! We use all stainless pans at home but got this griddle to replace our old one that had teflon. We have been making bigger breakfasts lately and needed an easy to clean griddle. This will be my new go to pan. It is solid, sturdy yet ergonomic with the handles. The depth is great for sautéing. The true red color will make this a fun pan to use for serving spicy appetizers. It holds heat extremely well. The dual pour sections make it easy to drain off any extra, unwanted fluid. The box was shipped, wrapped in bubble wrap. That was a good precaution. The box still came with some corner damage but the pan itself was fine. The package was heavy so it makes sense it might take a bit of a beating during shipping. Read the instructions! This is not like my traditional, old cast iron pans. It seems this does not season to a non-stick interior finish. The instructions suggest a bit of fat when heating to properly heat and cook foods. Not an issue for me so this will be a great go to for cooking. Highly recommend at this price point. I look forward to adding other Lava products to my cooking arsenal.. Leslie. Livonia, MI.
