There is no safer and better way to cook than a set of pans like these. You never have to worry about getting cancer with these. I have bought the most expensive, highly rated no stick pans and after a few years use, they ALL started to peal and scratch, even using the proper tools. These pans I treat like my cast iron pans of over 30 yrs. old. The first time I used them, I cleaned like my cast iron. It took about 8 uses but after that, the eggs slip right out. I never use soap on them, just a stainless steel scrubber with some salt and oil and than put a light coat of oil on them before I put away. If there is burnt on food, I put some water in them and let them sit while I eat and all I need to get the cooked on food off, is my stainless steel scrubber and they clean just as well as any non stick. I love them and the will last for years. A lot longer than any non stick.. Cathy. Wisconsin. Wed Oct 15 2025

For those who like cooking with cast iron but love the versatility of a clad stainless steel pan, the Viking Blue Carbon Steel 12-Inch Wok is the perfect pan. Featuring a 12’’ size for added versatility, this wok is made of carbon steel, an alloy that is a combination of iron and carbon. The “Blue” in “Blue carbon steel” references a heat treatment process to help resist rust and corrosion, a nuisance that can plague traditional cast iron pans. Stay-cool cast iron handles securely attach to the pans with heavy duty rivets for confidence in construction and a lifetime of use. Though cast iron also excels as maintaining even heating, it can take time to rise to temperature and since iron itself is so brittle, more of the material must be used to make it durable, making traditional cast iron pans larger and heavier. With blue carbon steel, you’ll have a pan that is noticeably lighter without sacrificing performance. And like cast iron, blue carbon steel also heats quickly and evenly, reducing the risk of hot spots from occurring. Blue carbon steel is also prized for achieving high temperatures quickly without fear of damage occurring to the pan itself. Viking Blue Steel is oven safe to 450°F for restaurant quality finishing in the oven. Like cast iron, your blue carbon steel pan will need to be seasoned regularly to maintain its nonstick properties. “Seasoning” refers to the process of coating the base of the pan with a thin layer of oil that imparts a flavorful taste to your foods while also protecting foods from sticking. There are plenty of methods to seasoning your pan, but if this is your first time seasoning the pan, we recommend using very hot water and dish soap to first scrub the pan, then wipe dry and place it on the burner at low heat to finish drying. Add some oil to the pan and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Then, let the pan cool and wipe with paper towels and your pan is ready for use! For future maintenance, simply rinse the pan with water after use and scrub gently with a soft-bristled brush or sponge if necessary (No need for soap!). Season with vegetable oil periodically to maintain its smooth cooking surface and nonstick properties. It is not recommended to put these pans into the dishwasher as it will remove the seasoning, reduction the natural nonstick and making the pan more susceptible to rust. Should you find rust on the pan, like natural cast iron, this can be normal. Just clean the rust off with a scrubby sponge and season the area with vegetable oil. - Includes 10-inch & 12-inch Fry Pan Set - Pre-seasoned carbon steel construction for healthy, lightweight and long-lasting cookware - Features a matte finish and cut rims - Stainless Steel Handles - Safe up to 600°F/315°C - Compatible with all Cooking Surfaces; Electric, Gas, Grill, Induction, & Oven Friendly - Hand wash Only - Limited Lifetime Warranty - Blue carbon steel is lighter and more maneuverable than cast iron, making it easier for those who struggle with the weight of cast iron - The special alloy that makes up blue carbon steel is designed to resist rust and corrosion more effectively than cast iron, reducing the amount of time and energy spent on care and maintenance - Carbon steel cookware is touted by many as the perfect blend between clad cookware and cast iron, delivering the superior heat transfer of cast iron for searing and the even distribution of clad 3-ply cookware - Naturally nonstick due to the vegetable oil seasoning - As a thinner alloy, blue carbon steel heats more quickly than cast iron while still maintaining its even and consistent heat distribution - Blue carbon steel is able to withstand high temperatures without damaging the pan, making it perfect for finishing steaks with a quick sear or sautéing a quick stir fry This product contains: Iron, Chromium, Nickel, and Manganese For more information about chemicals in this product, visit www.vikingculinaryproducts.com/pages/disclosures.html Para obtener más información sobre los productos químicos de este producto, visite www.vikingculinaryproducts.com/pages/disclosures.html

Cool Grip handles stay cool to the touch, and the pan set is both dishwasher and oven safe up to 500°F (lids 450°F).

This is a good set. I especially like the large skillet with the little helper handle. They do stick slightly, but have been very easy to clean for the most part. When I did have the food stick, I just soaked for a little while in hot soapy water and was able to remove the stuck on part. I think it was caused by the sauce on the food and maybe cooking a bit too hot. Since every brand of pan is a little different, it takes a few cooking sessions to see how they conduct the heat.. The Alva Forest Carbon Steel Frying Pan is for cooks who would rather build a nonstick surface than buy one. It arrives pre-seasoned and ready to use, and every meal after that deepens the patina into a release that keeps improving instead of wearing out — there is no coating here to scratch, blister or replace. Carbon steel heats fast and responds the instant you move the burner, which is what makes searing, sautéing and browning feel precise rather than approximate, and the acacia wood handle stays cool and comfortable in the hand. Works on gas, electric, ceramic, glass and induction. The wood handle is not oven safe, so keep this pan on the cooktop. Hand wash, dry immediately and wipe with a little oil to maintain the seasoning. Available in 8, 9.5 and 11 inches and as a 2-piece set. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

I haven’t actually used this pan yet, but it definitely seems high quality. It seems super sturdy and well-made. It also has a really nice weight to it, and I love the wood handle. I can’t wait to try it out!. Laura. Clanton, AL. Sat Jun 10 2023

The pan you use before you are properly awake. The Alva Energy Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan is built light, so it is easy to lift and tilt one-handed, on a recycled aluminium core that heats fast and spreads heat edge to edge — eggs set evenly instead of browning in a ring, and vegetables cook through at the same rate. The multi-layer ceramic surface releases with very little oil and wipes clean in seconds, which is the difference between a pan that gets used daily and one that gets avoided. Works on gas, electric, ceramic, glass and induction. The handle is not oven safe, so keep this pan on the cooktop. Ceramic is nonstick, not no-fat: use a little oil, keep heat low to medium, and hand wash. Available in 8, 9.5, 11 and 12.6 inches and as a 2-piece set. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium. Backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

I had looked at a similar product elsewhere and the reviews were terrible. I bought these under duress, we were part of the kettle recall, and I wanted to spend the gift card before i lost it. We use cast iron and i avoid non stick. I have not bought a zwilling product that hasnt been impressive. Highly recommend these! Easy to use and easy to clean. They dont get too hot and food doesnt slide all over the place. They are nice to look at and arent hard on my wrists. I have nerve damage and struggle with the cast iron and wanted to see if these would make my life easier, can confirm they infact do.. Scratchcookfordays. Ontario. Sun Jun 28 2026
