Safe from metal utensils, Viking Hybrid Plus Tri-Ply Nonstick Ceramic Fry Pans are made without PFAS for healthy, non-toxic cooking. These pans are a mix of a traditional stainless-steel fry pan and a nonstick fry pan, making them ideal for searing, sautéing, and browning while still delivering easy cleanup. Viking Hybrid Plus cookware is coated with an advanced double-layer ceramic nonstick coating that features superior release while being made without PFAS. The innovative design of the cooking surface features a raised diamond tread pattern that sits just above the nonstick coating. The raised stainless-steel pattern protects the nonstick coating from scratching, making this pan ideal for use with metal utensils. You never need to worry about what utensil you or anyone in your house uses – the scratch-resistant nonstick is protected. The 3-ply clad construction delivers professional quality heat transfer. Both made of stainless steel, the exterior steel layer is induction-capable while the interior steel layer is 304 non-reactive surgical grade stainless. Sandwiched between these layers is a layer of aluminum that helps to conduct the heat evenly through both the bottom and walls of the pan. Together, the three layers make this pan more efficient when cooking. The Viking 3-Ply Hybrid plus line is oven safe to 500°F. The fry pan is finished with rolled rims for drip-free pouring. The signature Viking ergonomic handles are riveted in place and fully cast stainless for a lifetime of use. Each handle is equipped with a heat break to help them stay-cool during use and a finger guide for easy lifting and control. For best results, use a little oil or butter when cooking eggs or other liquid based foods. Be sure to use lower heat and allow the food to cook into a solid form before turning it with a spatula and you will have better results. It is best to cook on low to medium heat for best the best release. Never use aerosol nonstick sprays with these pans as it will reduce the life of the nonstick. The Hybrid Plus pans are dishwasher safe, but we highly recommend hand washing to extend the life of the nonstick performance of the cookware.

Unfortunately, these are not quite what they are advertised to be. I use a small amount of oil as this is what is recommended to prevent food from sticking. You can clearly see from the picture below that even after about two dozen uses it is incredibly difficult to clean up the residue. I don’t feel that these are true nonstick and would recommend to go with other brands, such as All-Clad for a better product.. Irvberto. USA. Mon Feb 09 2026

Clad from 5 layers of metal for even heating and expert searing, this Award-Winning chef favorite lasts a lifetime. Meet a true kitchen workhorse. Crafted in Italy from 5 layers of metal, the Stainless Clad Frying Pan delivers a durable, easy-to-clean cooking surface with superior heat conduction and distribution. This 5-ply construction means far more searing and flavor-building, and far fewer hot spots and burnt-on messes. The Frying Pan yields crusty butter-basted steaks, pan sauces that come together faster, and crispier, lacier edges on perfectly fried eggs. The curvature of the walls is calculated for deeper searing and easier flipping, while a rolled rim allows you to pthe sauces without spilling. The hollow build of the proprietary Stay Cool Handle dissipates heat to keep it from getting scalding hot while on the stovetop. This means the heat stays on the ingredients, not the hands.

The 14" Skillet with Helper Handle is an easy choice for browning and frying large batches of food because it's induction ready and boasts measurement markings for ease of use. The helper handle also makes it easy to transport a skillet loaded with delicious food.

I was looking for a pan to roast whole tomatoes primarily, and fry other foods in general. My wife already has 10 and 11 inch pans, but when cooking large amounts they can sometimes be a bit too small. Also, our old pans are showing their age, with the bases no longer entirely flat. So I wanted something over 12 inches. I also wanted genuine stainless steel for longevity and, based on our experience with other pots we have I wanted the Tri-Ply base. Full-clad Tri-Ply pans are available, but we have no experience with them and the cost is high. Wayfair was the only store in which I saw this big 14 inch pan and their free shipping to Miami was a plus since it would be freight forwarded down to the Caribbean and I have to pay import duties. The lack of a cover wasn't a problem because as you can see from the photos my wife has a good glass cover that fit perfectly. The skillet was double boxed as shown, and there was no damage to the pan. As shown in the photos it is big, but sits comfortably on the GE gas stove. My wife fried a pot of Caraili (bitter gourd) on medium heat on the GE power burner and it came out great. Yes, the handle does extend quite a bit, but our stove area was designed with extra space to allow sweeping and mopping without having to move the stove, so this isn't an issue. The handle itself is a bit narrow, and I think the pan would have been better off with two of the square handles instead of this long one. I've given it a 5-star rating up to this point. We haven't gotten around to roasting a pan full of whole tomatoes for ~30 minutes. That will be the real test, especially the cleanup part of the job, because that's where all our non-stick pans have faltered in the past.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

Like cast iron, but better. the best-selling Carbon Steel Frying Pan, seasoned with a mixture of shea nut oil and coconut oil, we’ve taken care of the first two seasonings (the hardest ones) so you can experience the difference Carbon Steel makes on day one. the Carbon Steel combines the heat retention of cast iron with the control and maneuverability of Stainless Clad, resulting in a natural non stick alternative. We stamp Carbon Steel into a thin disc that’s half the weight of cast iron but every bit as durable—so it seasons faster, responds quicker, and is rugged enough for the grill or open flame. With sloping walls and a wide surface, this pan provides maximum heat contact for high-heat searing. See how this chef-loved pan will replace cast iron as the favorite kitchen heirloom.

I like the pan. It is a challenge to season it. The handle is very long.. Karen. Sun Jul 05 2026

the pan is great. The reason we got the pan is because the winco pan we had last thirty years and started losing its coating so we found one on Wayfair and we bought it. Hopefully we have this one for another thirty plus years.. Vic. Gilbert Plains, MB. Tue Aug 04 2026

Whole fish is easy to cook and hard to serve intact. The Alva Energy 13.4-Inch Oval Ceramic Nonstick Fish Pan is shaped for the problem — long and oval so a whole sea bass or two large fillets lie flat, and shallow so a spatula can get right underneath without folding the fish in half. The multi-layer ceramic surface releases delicate skin cleanly with very little oil, and pour spouts on both sides let you tip off cooking liquid or pour a butter sauce without a mess down the outside. A recycled aluminium core heats fast and evenly, so the tail does not overcook while the middle is still raw. Works on gas, electric, ceramic, glass and induction. The handle is not oven safe, so keep this pan on the cooktop. Hand wash recommended, with a little oil and low to medium heat. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium. Backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

This is a great pan. It heats evenly and is completely non stick for easy clean up. I thought it was an odd shape but it's perfect for eggs, bacon and everything else you would make in a circular frying pan. My only problem is the handle. I couldn't figure out how to attach it properly so it's wobbly when I move it, like it feels like it's going to fall off. I don't have any reason to move the pan when I'm cooking so it's not really an issue but I thought I should mention it.. Elle. Portland, OR. Thu May 11 2023
