Salt & Pepper Shakers & Mills

Conventional salt & pepper mills often create mess by leaving excess grounds on surfaces when placed down. The simple, elegant design of the Milltop avoids this problem as the grinding mechanism is at the top of the mill, which means any excess grounds fall back inside the unit after use. The innovative design also does away with a long central spindle for the grinding mechanism, which increases its capacity and makes it much easier to fill. To adjust the grinding size, simply rotate the stainless steel top. Our easy-to-use, easy-to-fill salt-and-pepper mills are an essential asset to every dining table.

Works well for the most part. The only issue is that adjusting from fine to course does not actually change much.. Kerri. Chicago, IL. Sat Sep 12 2026

Add a fashionable yet functional accent to your kitchen island or dining room table with these sleek salt and pepper mills. The Classic Petite Salt and Pepper Mill Set is the perfect size to bring to the table and allow everyone to season their own food to perfection. Combining classic form and modern technology with our iconic colors, the ceramic grinder is strong enough to crack peppercorns and corrosion-resistant for grinding salt. The acrylic ABS-finished mills do not absorb odors or moisture and easily wipe clean.

Great quality little set! 5" seems much smaller once you're holding it. Holds the perfect amount for a table top grinder. There is not an option to change the coarseness of the grind so it is always a very fine consistency. I would splurge and get the larger size if you are a frequent cook. The 5" will have to be refilled often at my house. It is true to Le Creuset quality though. Very well made.. Taylor. Skiatook, OK. Sun Jan 04 2026

Le Creuset's salt and pepper mill combines classic form and modern technology with its iconic colors. The ceramic grinder is strong enough to crack peppercorns and is corrosion-resistant for grinding salt. Adjust the grind setting with a turn of the knob – clockwise for a finer ground and counterclockwise for a coarser grind. The acrylic ABS-finished mills do not absorb odors, grease, or moisture and are easily wiped clean. Spot clean or hand wash with a damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly before refilling.

Rather than simply crushing the peppercorns, the advanced, machine-cut, hardened carbon steel mechanism instead strips them down by their individual layers as it grinds. As the different flavors within these layers are released they mix together to deliver the fully rounded and intense flavor of the peppercorn. This true and pleasurable flavor of the peppercorn enhances your food with a difference that you can really taste.

Squared-off sides give these shakers a graphic quality that rounder tabletop pieces miss. Marble gives each one weight, so they hold their place rather than tipping when a hand brushes past. Veining runs differently through every piece, which means the pair looks related rather than matched. Leave them out between meals, near the stove or on the table.
