Great quality little set! 5" seems much smaller once you're holding it. Holds the perfect amount for a table top grinder. There is not an option to change the coarseness of the grind so it is always a very fine consistency. I would splurge and get the larger size if you are a frequent cook. The 5" will have to be refilled often at my house. It is true to Le Creuset quality though. Very well made.. Taylor. Skiatook, OK. Sun Jan 04 2026

Choose from multiple precise steps for pepper for a light dusting to crumb-sized granules. Rather than simply crushing the peppercorns, the advanced, machine-cut, hardened carbon steel mechanism instead strips them down by their individual layers as it grinds. As the different flavors within these layers are released they mix together to deliver the fully rounded and intense flavor of the peppercorn. This true and pleasurable flavor of the peppercorn enhances your food with a difference that you can really taste.

Was looking for a cool mis-matched abstract style salt & pepper mill, so I was thrilled to stumble across this pair of misfits. They are a nice large size, look exactly as pictured, and so far work great. Yes, they do leave debris behind where they sit, but that's been the nature of every mill I've ever owned, so not an issue for me. My only complaint so far is that I haven't found a way to adjust the pepper grind size, so it comes out a bit chunky. I'm a pepper lover though, so it's not detrimental to my review. 5 stars all the way!. April. San Angelo, TX. Sun Oct 26 2025

Best peppermill ever made - period. I have 3 of these. One at home, one at a rental and one as a spare should one of the other two ever decide to either break (I doubt it) or grow legs (at rental) and walk out (more likely than breaking). Peugeot mills are made to last. I guess you don't know how bad your peppermill is until you use a really good one. This thing doesn't clog and grinds pepper corns in a consistent "flow". The adjustments guarantee that if you want a fine grind , you'll find no big pepper chunks in it, but if you want chunks, it will give you that too. The adjustment for coarseness is precise and consistent. I have been using one of these almost daily (unless I'm lazy and don't cook that day!) for about 17 years... the same one, and am as happy with it today as I was on day one. Buy it... it's an investment, but it will also be one of the little things that makes you happy in the kitchen.. Kelly. Birmingham, AL. Sun Jun 26 2022
