I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. The best nonstick I have ever used. I love Berghoff and I have replaced my set with Berghoff now and I absolutely love them. They heat fast use less gas and clean up easier than I have ever seen. Extremely well made! Very nice and I’m sure it will last me a lifetime! Love the fact that I can use it on my ceramic top stove as not all griddles do. It’s very heavy! I’m sure if I compared to a cast iron griddle they would both be the same weight!
