First delivery never arrived but after contacting customer support they sent me a new one and its perfect! Even better than I expected! Lid is ceramic glazed and pot is cast iron. The lid can only go on one way if you use the handle and it can be tricky to figure out. I have a few pieces of cookware by Mepra, and I was not disappointed in this medium size soup and casserole pot. First off, my other soup pots are quite large whereas this one is the perfect size for cooking for two or even one. It’s extremely well made with a sturdy lid which fits tight and nice large handles for easing carrying. It distributes the heat evenly, and clean up is a breeze with the non-stick surface.
