I've looked for a sautee pan for a very long time. They're more common in Middle Eastern cooking and I just couldn't find the right stuff. While this braiser pan isn't officially a satuee pan, it does the work beautifully. The food comes out cooked evenly and I can use my metal utensils with no fear. Excellent pan. Unlike many other pans this one has the aluminum all the way up the sides rather than just on the bottom. I just set up the grill I ordered along with the paella pan! This is the 24" pan and it's big. It beautiful can't wait to use it out doors! I ordered the Weber 26" grill to go with it (keep in mind with this size pan if you use this grill the grate need to be turned inside out due to the handles, so the pan can fit properly) I love this set up so had to make it work some how :). Fantastic! Still not showing any signs of sticking. Been hand washing only. Wrote to them to say why doesn’t handle fold over when lid on- would only have needed a 5mm rise on hinge then it would have been perfect for tighter ovens with lid on and handle folded.
