This pain is as close as it gets to perfection! It heats evenly, is scratch-resistant (no plastic or silicone tools required) and is as close to non-stick as any other pan I've tried and I've tried several! It's so much less finicky than my stainless steel or carbon steel pans. Worth every single penny and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. The size is perfect for things like browning taco meat or large batches of sauce. The high sides mean that my stove top stays clean because nothing is splashing over the edges. My only qualm is that it's not dishwasher safe. But it's so easy to clean that not using the dishwasher hasn't been an issue for me at all so far. 10/10 would recommend!. A.. United States. Loving this pan so far. Have used for 3 months and it has kept the non stick well. It is heavier but I like that it is aluminum free and ceramic for better food safety from toxic chemicals in other non stick. Cooks nice and evenly as well. Had to replace the old copper bottom fry pan when the handle broke. That won’t happen to the new one with a full stainless handle. This 5qt stainless steel was a gift to me and has been great for daily use. I recently switched to all stainlesss steel pots from non stick and this has been the best so far. This is a good set. I especially like the large skillet with the little helper handle. They do stick slightly, but have been very easy to clean for the most part. When I did have the food stick, I just soaked for a little while in hot soapy water and was able to remove the stuck on part. I think it was caused by the sauce on the food and maybe cooking a bit too hot. Since every brand of pan is a little different, it takes a few cooking sessions to see how they conduct the heat.. This is a very small pan, which is exactly what I wanted. My go to pan was Farberware, and it is over 20 years old, horrible condition as it will not even fry an egg without sticking now. We are great cooks in this house and somehow we can still make our old pans work. BUT....This Viking pan is next level amazing. I see why its so expensive. It is heavy like a cast iron pan and I love love love that!! I cooked an egg in it without using any oil. Now I am obsessing and want a whole set. I just have to figure out a way to explain to my husband why we need 600 pots and pans lol. Maybe I can compare my pots and pans to some of those high end tools he has in the garage lol.
