Made in France since 1814, Matfer Bourgeat's Copper Cookware has been the premium choice of generations of professional French chefs. This Matfer Bourgeat Copper Stock Pot traditional jam pan is made of solid high-quality copper. Copper's exceptional heat distribution and conductivity offer you precise control over cooking times and temperatures. This cookware is designed with a rolled, reinforced edge and two brass handle to ensure easy use and balance when lifting and pouring. This pan is just as versatile as it is heavy-duty, as it's compatible with all hobs and stove types, except induction. To clean, simply hand wash with a mild detergent and warm water. Please note that the copper material will develop a rich patina over time, but this will not affect the quality of the pan or its cooking performance. To keep it looking new and shiny, try using Matfer's Bistro Copper Cleaning Paste, sold separately.

A bit larger than I thought but great for keeping a consistent temperature for jam.. Pauline. San Rafael, CA. Fri Oct 18 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didnt expect to love this saucepan this much, but this 8" 3qt one really surprised me in the best way. First off, its gorgeous. The copper exterior gives it such warm, elevated look that honestly makes my whole stovetop feel more high-end. It's one of those pieces you don't feel like hiding away in a cabinet. Beyond looks, it performs really well. It heats up evenly and holds temperature nicely, which makes cooking sauces or reheating food feel much controlled (no random hot spots). The size is also super practical, perfect for everyday use without feeling bulky. The handle feels sturdy and comfortable, and overall it just gives that "quality" vibe when you are using it. It's a great mix of style and function. If you are someone who appreciates cookware that looks as good as it works, this one is definitely worth it.. Patriciar. Tue Apr 21 2026

I already did this review on the first skillet that I received.. the first one arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane. The shipping box was fine, but the actual box that the skillet was in, was a mess! It was filthy dirty, smashed and torn . The skillet was scuffed, but it still did a nice job cooking. Have cooked many things with it and everything turns out great. You can keep the heat at a lower setting and it cooks evenly and doesn't burn. My family loved the pot roast that I made in it.. Mimi.
