I bought extra ones, laid them flat, cut them in half and they made perfect drawers to go underneath the wine boxes. I paired them with wine shelves/glass holders and a wine rack from Wayfair.. I just laid them in the drawer of our liquor cabinet. It worked perfectly. I didn’t mount them because the weight of the bottles keep them in place. A natural Suar wood wine holder 39.5" that is all-natural and holds up to a minimum of 10 bottles of your favorite display wine. It is sturdy for its use and hand-carved from a solid tree trunk. A great gift for a collector that is also a natural piece of functional art. As with all natural exotic wood products, there will be some slight variation in color, texture, and finish color. A natural product of this type could have visible marks from tools used, patches from small repairs, knot holes, natural inclusions, and wormholes. Suar wood aka monkey pod wood is strong and very durable, and the color and grain of the wood are pleasing you will see tones from light yellow sapwood edges to rich dark chocolate-brown tones of the heartwood. The rich color and beautiful grains of the heartwood resemble black walnuts. It is also highly resistant to decay and termites. Suar wood only requires basic maintenance such as soap and water to maintain its grandeur. For environmental concerns, Suar is not on any endangered species list and it is eco-friendly. The Suar tree is aptly nicknamed monkey pod wood for its beautiful crowning arbor sometimes reaching heights of up to 80' tall and as such a favorite yet bountiful play tree for these residents. Enjoy.
