The set of replacement bar stools was in perfect condition! I love the chairs, but I will admit that I have to get used to the fact that they do not automatically return to their original position when you stand up! However, the first set of chairs I received were obviously returned by a previous customer; they had been partially unwrapped with hardware removed and loose in the box, and there was a large dent in the back of one of the chairs. In addition, the stain on both seats was not applied correctly and visibly damaged. I LOVE these counter stools! I had brought 2 from a different mfg. that were not dreadfully inexpensive but still didn’t last a year. I choose these because they were custom made to order, I could choose frame color and upholstery color as well. I chose Sun bronze with Ford Red upholstery! These were twice the price of the ones I ordered last year, but what a difference!! These are solid, completely welded at every joint and assembly was a snap! I simply had to attached the seat to the base frame with 4 supplied screws, washers and lock nuts. It took me a whopping 10 minutes a chair to unpack, remove protective wrap and assemble. These look like they are made to last! The seat is very cushioned, the back is comfortable and the foot ring is in the perfect position. Did I mention I LOVE these counter stools ❤️. Victoria. These Counter Stools are great. I absolutely love them! They are solid, sturdy, quality and well made. They looks so rich. The fabric is nice- not scratchy. Can pill a little over time - we've had ours over 2 years now and still getting compliments. We purchased 4, took a chance and they match our cream cabinets perfectly. Nice cream color. Someone else's review had a picture next to a white stool and it helped me see the true coloring. One of my photo's has white blinds and window trim that may help to see the level of cream color. I wish I had thought to scotchguard the fabric before assembly. I've had no issues though with spills. These were called "Tayna" by Charlton Home when I purchased them. We LOVE our new bar stools! We bought a new house with a really high counter and it needed stools. Our counter is 47 inches tall and we bought the 36 inch stools. At first, I was thinking they were too high, but after we got used to it, we are comfortable eating in this arrangement. I still would probably take two inches off if I could but my husband and I use them for every meal. We also bought a new dining set but we’ve only used it when we have visitors.
