This will suit our purposes just fine! Seems to be a decent value and is very sharp looking. Nice and quiet at the lower settings. A bit noisy on high, but not unexpected. Don’t love the light location, back against the wall. Tempted to remove a star for that, but at this price point, ... it's fine. Removing all the blue protective film from the baffles was annoying, but what can you do? This range hood is amazing. Although it comes with a remote, I love the sensor feature the most— all you have to do is wave. It’s absolutely convenient when your hands are wet or dirty and you need to quickly turn on the vent or speed it up or turn it off. I love that it has four lights, I can finally see what I’m cooking in the evening. The package was carefully packed in fitted foam boxes and a shrink wrap. This project took me days because I had to cut the hole for the vent and cut the stainless steel hood to size. It is pretty heavy so you’ll definitely need a partner to help lift it.
