All in all, I'm happy with the product and it's rustic look in my bathroom. I will say however, for what you pay and what you are receiving, there should be better quality control in regard to the cupping and warping of the planks. This has worked out great we had a electrician install this. I enjoy the three-speed fan for low medium and high it appropriately pulls up the steam and smells of cooking. I really enjoy the feature that you can pull the grates down to be able to clean all of the grease off. The only tricky part is getting in between the slats as there's no way to completely disassemble those that I've been able to figure out at least so you do need to soak them for a while and use a sponge in between each slat so it is a little time-consuming but typically have only done it like four times a year. The metal can be quite sure if I did cut myself so be cautious. The lights that are built into this I don't think would be bright enough to illuminate an area we had additional lights put in to our nook. The fan itself is not terribly loud you can definitely hear it but it's more quiet than our last one and I don't think it's reasonable to think a fan is going to make no noise. CRAZY AMAZING! This is such a high-quality stainless steel range hood, and what great convenience that is convertible! You have you ever been in the situation where you bought the wrong appliance, it’s all unboxed and you’re installing it and realize oh darn! The pieces are extremely heavy and will require two people to mount that that’s pretty common with any very good range hood. Definitely stainless steel quality, the craftsmanship is sleek and modern. All parts are included as pictured. They added a nice touch of some oven mitts in brand new potholders that they cleverly used isn’t insulation in the box. There are only one drawback to this product that is that the vent is black plastic, it may not affect any performance, but that’s something I wish was that are quality material. However, I’m not familiar with other range hoods so I’m not sure if that is common or not. Adds a real statement to our kitchen, we are still waiting for our installer, but have mock fitted it into place and it’s just a huge wow. Beautiful item and it runs fabulous. This thing is fancy! It even has a remote control! I love that you can change the fan speeds and the light intensity with a simple touch. It took a bit to install it and I had to get a reducer for the duct because previously we had 7" and this was 6". It is very quiet and you can have a conversation with it on, which was next to impossible with my old vent hood. I really like this. This is such a nice range hood. I love the sleek, upscale design. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a touch panel, a remote, timer, and LED lights. The fan has 4 speeds, and although it’s not loud, it’s also not quiet. I had mine professionally installed. Per the installer, it wasn’t difficult to install. Very impressive range hood for our mini kitchen remodel. We just had this installed by an electrician friend - took him about 2 hours, but that’s because our old one was not a plug in and he had to drill a couple holes in our cabinet. The fan works great and the lights are nice and bright. The fan is a tad loud but I don’t mind because it works so much better than our old one. This is a great upgrade for your kitchen hood. It just takes your kitchen up to a whole Nother level. Insulation was simple however, note that we did have to buy by the duct venting supplies theyre not included so we bought the coil hose and clamp and the heat resistant tape no big deal. This thing is so cool so nice. Its very quiet And the plus of having a remote control to operate to turn the lights on and off reduce section or increase section timer delay all that this is so nice another plus is you have a 10 year warranty so this is a 10 out of 10 in my opinion no more lousy clunkyhood range noises. Nice unit. Relatively easy to install with 2 people. 1st unit damaged and refunded. 2nd unit better but still some hidden cosmetic damage to the hood. Hood could be thicker metal to prevent this, and QC needs better eyes out the door. Easy to install and looks good in the space. I’m most impressed with the fan noise, at max speed it sounds like a table fan or similar to white noise and not like a steam engine like most range hoods. Very nice Range Hood! Really good quality. The fan isn’t too loud and the light is VERY bright, but can also be dimmed. It also comes with a remote which is a nice convenience to have. There were also some extra goodies that came with it! I would definitely have this professionally installed by two (or more) people if you were considering doing it yourself.
