Final verdict 4stars...It does look great especially when lit and the light effect in/on the room is impressive. Our dining room is relatively small so the scale was perfect. Even unlit, it looks like a signature piece. BUT... a few notes: Difficult to hang - instructions were not particularly explanatory, so you need to have a knack for these things. HALOGEN lights - seems like a relic of a previous time. Apparently, there are LED G9 bulbs we can replace in due course NO LIGHTS INCLUDED - maybe petty, but for close to $1000, you would have expected bulbs included. The the ceiling attachment doesn’t fit a north Mercian electoral box so you have to buy a new piece. The cover doesn’t scare tight enough to stay up on ours. Beautiful light. I converted it into a swag light which was relatively easy to do with this fixture. Only 4 stars though because 10 lights is a bit much. Had to put in 5w bulbs so it wasn’t so intense. Also the arms do not tighten so they are very loose. Thousands of duck feathers surround a white Pendant frame, a design that is a statement of humane practices and sustainable production. The feathers are procured responsibly, sanitized, and repurposed for the fixture, then attached to the paper structure on the inside. It is fire-resistant and easily maintained; you can clean and revitalize the feathers with a hairdryer. A CFL E26 bulb is recommended.
