We are very happy with this loft bed. It looks beautiful, feels sturdy, and has really helped maximize the space in my daughter’s room. She now has plenty of room underneath for studying, doing her makeup, and storage. The only issue was the ladder. The steps are narrow and hard on bare feet, and the included pads would roll and didn’t provide enough cushioning. We solved this by adding foam padding around each rung and covering it with soft material. It made a huge difference and the ladder is now much more comfortable to use. The desk area is much larger than I expected, which is perfect. Also, the little shelves in the corner of the desk are a nice accent. I do feel like the directions are fairly easy to understand, and it was not hard to put together. My only complaint for which I took a star off is the squeakiness. It does squeak a bit when it is used, whether somebody's turning over in bed or climbing the ladder. Some small padded spacers might help with that squeak where it is metal on metal. took me 4 hrs to assemble. good quality but the slats at the top feels thin I’m worried it might broke. i haven’t put the mattress yet so we’ll see i also feel like its missing another wood for the bottom part which should hold the 2 poles on the right side. overall it looks very nice and i got it on sale so im happy with it..
