We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand. I used a drill to attach the bolts and over tighten them and one started to come through the other side on the headboard. Totally my fault. The bed itself is well made and pretty solid.. Marianne. The only real drawback is the headboard height. It’s a bit low, so any mattress taller than about 12 inches will mostly hide it. If you prefer a visible headboard, stick with a lower-profile mattress or plan to add pillows for a layered look.
